New AutoTuner Protocol Update: Bosch MD1CS004 OBD Improvements!

Exciting news for tuners working with 2.0L TDI VAG engines! The OBD protocol for Bosch MD1CS004 ECUs has been significantly enhanced. 🔥

H80 Hardware Note:

Some H80 ECU versions can now be handled via OBD mode, thanks to a VAG-specific approach. However, please note:

• BENCH mode is not available for H80 units, as it requires a Bosch-specific service mode.

• OBD handling may still be possible depending on the ECU version.

What’s New?

• Wider Coverage: The protocol now supports more Cboot versions, expanding compatibility.

• New VR Files: Additional VR files have been added to support new variants.

• Bug Fixes: Several corrections improve overall stability and ECU support.

• Enhanced ECU Detection: Instantly identify supported VAG ECUs during ID for smoother workflow.

Heads up: VAG has introduced new ECU references labeled as Gen2 (e.g., MD1CS004 Gen2). These are not yet supported—stay tuned for future updates!
